Prishtina, 17 December – The Minister for European Integration, Mr. Bekim Çollaku today travelled to Stockholm, Sweden, where he will participate in the high-level conference titled “Western Balkans EU Integration: Mission to be fulfilled.” This conference is co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, the European Commission and Western Balkan countries. Other participants in this conference shall be the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Ms. Margot Wallstrom, European Neighbourhood Policy & Enlargement Negotiations Commissioner Mr. Johannes Hahn and representatives from the Western Balkan countries.
This conference which shall take place tomorrow on 18 December, is dedicated to EU enlargement within Western Balkans, and regional cooperation as processes to promote reforms, stability and development. The minister shall make a presentation focusing in European integration priorities of the Republic of Kosovo, including the entry into force of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement and conclusion of the Visa Liberalization process for the citizens of Kosovo, as well as developments in the European Integration context which are dedicated to regional cooperation and improvement of neighbourly relations.
