During the meeting, current processes in relation to European integration were discussed, such as; negotiations progress for a Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) with the EU, organization of free and democratic elections, improved neighbourly relations with Serbia, and progress in relation to visa liberalization. Also, ongoing issues since the last meeting were discussed, where is worth mentioning the positive evaluation by the European Commission on the advancement of Western Balkans on their road to EU integration.
In addition, Minister Çitaku thanked the Ambassador Daviet for continued support that France has given to Kosovo towards European integration process and assured her on Kosovo`s government commitment to fulfil all the necessary reforms in order to advance key processes.
Ambassador Daviet praised the excellent relations between our two countries and expressed willingness to their further development at all levels and areas with special focus on social and economic cooperation.
