Today, the Chief Negotiator of the Republic of Kosovo with the European Union, Mr. Jeton Zulfaj, received the Head of the UNICEF Office in Kosovo, Ms. Veronika Vashchenko, who was accompanied by Ms. Dafina Krasniqi, Early Childhood Development Officer at the UNICEF Office in Kosovo.
In the context of implementing the Reform Agenda, particularly in advancing the human capital policy area and reforms related to early childhood education, equal access, and quality assurance in early childhood education institutions, UNICEF has made an important contribution. On this occasion, Mr. Zulfaj thanked Ms. Vashchenko and the UNICEF team for their partnership and continued support in advancing these reforms.
The meeting also discussed UNICEF’s engagement in joint projects aimed at protecting children’s rights and well-being, for which the Government of the Republic of Kosovo remains committed to continuing its cooperation with UNICEF and other partners.
