The Chief Negotiator of the Republic of Kosovo with the European Union and National Coordinator for the Reform Agenda, Mr. Jeton Zulfaj, held a joint meeting with the Director of the Agency for Gender Equality, Ms. Edi Gusia, as well as representatives of UN Women in Kosovo, Ms. Vlora Tuzi-Nushi and Ms. Rozafa Kelmendi

The Chief Negotiator of the Republic of Kosovo with the European Union and National Coordinator for the Reform Agenda, Mr. Jeton Zulfaj, held a joint meeting with the Director of the Agency for Gender Equality, Ms. Edi Gusia, as well as representatives of UN Women in Kosovo, Ms. Vlora Tuzi-Nushi and Ms. Rozafa Kelmendi, to discuss the advancement of gender equality within the framework of the European integration process and the implementation of the Reform Agenda.                  

Ms. Tuzi-Nushi praised Kosovo’s progress within the framework of the regional Gender Equality Facility (GEF) project, funded by the European Union and implemented by UN Women in Kosovo, highlighting Kosovo as the only country in the region that has already developed gender indicators within the reform framework.

Ms. Gusia underlined the importance of these indicators being consistently reflected in institutional reporting and in the monitoring mechanisms of the responsible ministries and institutions.

Chief Negotiator Zulfaj reaffirmed the institutional commitment to cooperation and coordination in implementing the Reform Agenda, emphasizing that the Office of the Prime Minister remains committed to advancing gender equality within the framework of reforms and European integration.
