Kosovo receives pre-financing from the EU Growth Plan in the amount of 61.8 million euros

Today, the European Commission has started transferring 61.8 million euros to Kosovo as pre-financing under the Growth Plan, following the ratification of the agreements by the Parliament and the submission of the necessary documentation by the Government.

These funds, in addition to direct budgetary support, will be invested in concrete infrastructure projects that will be implemented within the framework of the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF). Among the first projects to be financed is the one in the transmission network in the amount of 9.3 million euros, implemented in cooperation with the German Development Bank.

Meanwhile, other applications will continue throughout this year in other areas such as transport, digital infrastructure and human capital.
