Germany and Czech Republic confirm support for Kosovo’s European agenda

In the context of lobbying for Kosovo`s European agenda, Acting Minister of European Integration, Mr.Gëzim Kasapolli, and Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr. Bernard Nikaj, this week has met with representatives of Czech and German institutions, in Prague and Berlin.

During their stay in Prague, the two ministers held meetings with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Martin Tlapa, and State Secretary for European Affairs Mr. Tomas Prouza, as well as with members of the Committee for European Affairs of the Czech Republic Senate. While, during their stay in Berlin Acting Minister, Mr. Kasapolli, meet with Director for Basic Issues of EU External Relations and Relations with EU Member States at the Federal Foreign Office, Mr.Joachim Bleicker.

During these meetings it was discussed the overall political, economic and trade developments, as well as bilateral relations. The two ministers informed their colleagues from Czech and German institutions on the progress in relation to Stabilization and Association Agreement, visa liberalization process and economic reforms. Representatives of Czech and German institutions confirmed their full support for Kosovo’s European agenda.
