Prishtina, 27 September 2017 – Minister of European Integration, Mrs. Dhurata Hoxha, in the light of activities to strengthen the support of integration process of the Republic of Kosovo, held today a meeting with the Austrian Ambassador to Kosovo, Mr. Gernot Pfandler.
She discussed with Mr. Pfandler about current developments in Kosovo, developments with regards to the European agenda, advancement and implementation of the Stabilization and Association Agreement, European Reform Agenda, Visa Liberalization Process and EU Programmes.
Minister Hoxha thanked Ambassador Pfandler for the contribution of Austria during the state-building. Austria, stated Minister, is among the first countries to have recognized independence of Kosovo and provides ongoing support towards integration processes of Kosovo. She emphasized the will to expand cooperation between both countries for the mutual interest.
Ambassador Pfandler reconfirmed the support of Austria for European perspective of Kosovo and processes which it is going through. The Ambassador noted that nine years have passed since the declaration of independence and Kosovo, compared to region, is on track regarding integration processes.
