Minister Çollaku met with Commissioner Hahn

Initially, the interlocutors exchanged their views about the continuity of the Ministerial Summit of six countries from Western Balkans and EU, which was hosted by Kosovo. Minister Çollaku and Commissioner Hahn highly praised the readiness of the countries of the region on one side and the EU on the other side to cooperate in development projects and infrastructure investments of regional nature.

During the meeting a range of topics was address which relate to the reforms that are of direct interest for Kosovo and all of its citizens, including the continuation of reforms in the field of justice, law enforcement, and in the sector of transportation, energy, etc.

Minister Çollaku and Commissioner Hahn underlined the importance of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) between Kosovo and the European Union and discussed about the next steps of this process, namely the signing and entry into force of the SAA. During the meeting, Minister Çollaku informed Commissioner Hahn about the preparations that are being made to initiate the drafting of the National Programme for implementation of the SAA.

Also, Minister Çollaku informed Commissioner Hahn about the latest developments in implementation of the recommendations of the visa liberalization roadmap, expressing his optimism that during this year all the criteria required by the roadmap will be fulfilled.
