Today, Chief Negotiator of the Republic of Kosovo with the European Union, Mr Jeton Zulfaj, received the non-resident Ambassador of Ireland to Kosovo, H.E. Ragnar Almqvist.
The meeting focused on Kosovo’s EU integration process, with particular emphasis on the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the role Ireland can play in advancing Kosovo’s integration process during this period.
Chief Negotiator Zulfaj thanked Ambassador Almqvist for Ireland’s support for Kosovo and emphasized the importance of the Irish Presidency in advancing the process of obtaining candidate status.
