Prishtina, 23 January 2017 – Today, The National Investment Committee held its regular meeting chaired by Deputy Minister of European Integration, Anila Statovci-Demaj, and Minister of Finance, Avdullah Hoti. Since its establishment in July 2015, today`s meeting was the sixth Committee meeting. Present at the meeting were the ministers within the Republic of Kosovo, representatives of Embassies in Kosovo and donor representatives.
Head of the Ministry of European Integration, Deputy Minister, Statovci-Demaj presented to the Committee, two agenda items for approval: Enhancement of infrastructure conditions within the University and Clinical Hospital Service of Kosovo, and the Construction of the National Football Stadium in Kosovo. Both these items, after the presentation of projects by the respective ministers, are unanimously approved by the National Investment Committee.
Last agenda item was reserved for informing the National Investment Committee on the next round of Western Balkans Investment Framework grant scheme, and for this the Ministry of European Integration received two requests: Feasibility study for the railway route Prishtina – Prishtina Airport; and Prefeasibility Study for the Social Housing Program in Kosovo.
