Minister Çollaku congratulated Mr. Lumezi upon his decreeing as Chief State Prosecutor, and wished him a successful work, whereby committed the support of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to the prosecutorial system in the country for fulfill its constitutional and legal mandate.
Both interlocutors discussed about justice system in the country, its challenges and the work that law enforcement and justice institutions are doing towards the fulfillment of obligations deriving from the European agenda. Both interlocutors concluded that performance enhancement within the prosecution offices, especially in the fight against terrorism, organized crime and corruption is vital to the rule of law in Kosovo, as a key prerequisite to the overall development of our country and for advancing in European integration process.
