Chief Negotiator Zulfaj meets with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria, Ms. Velislava Petrova-Chamova.
During his stay in Sofia, where he attended the “EU Meets the Balkans” Forum, the Chief Negotiator of the Republic of Kosovo for EU negotiations, Mr. Jeton Zulfaj, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria, Ms. Velislava Petrova-Chamova.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between Kosovo and Bulgaria, regional cooperation, and Kosovo’s EU accession process.
Chief Negotiator Zulfaj thanked Minister Petrova-Chamova for Bulgaria’s support for the Republic of Kosovo throughout various stages of state-building and for its contribution to regional security and stability.
Obtaining candidate country status and opening accession negotiations remain a priority for the Republic of Kosovo. In this regard, Chief Negotiator Zulfaj emphasized the importance of Bulgaria’s active support in advancing Kosovo’s application.
